In 2021, we partnered with Symphony Talent to build a new careers site for WeWork. As the project lead, I conceptualized and project managed the website’s complete revamp. I brought together a team of 40+ agency and cross-functional partners across the people, brand, communications, UX design, and legal teams, including executive leaders. We ensured the site was on brand, user-friendly, and legally compliant, which proved exceptionally important at the time of WeWork’s highly anticipated IPO.
We positioned WeWork as an employer with a new story to tell. From building a culture of community, to connecting employees globally and empowering tomorrow’s world at work, the goal was to cement WeWork’s position as a company for people ready to make their mark. We created a custom site experience that brought WeWork’s new employee value proposition to life through inspiring messaging, engaging page designs, and people-focused photography by Dan Dennison.
After launch, we saw an increase in return users and talent community sign-ups and a decrease in the drop-off rate. The website was shortlisted in the best careers site category at the Recruitment Marketing Awards in 2022 and the RAD Awards in 2023.
